Happy Easter / Gelukkig Pasen !

Happy Easter everyone. Hope you're all doing well and Sam and her family enjoyed their stay and had a safe trip home

Bedankt voor jullie inzet zo ver Samantha, Roxanne en ook Spider. Niet echt het correcte topic om het te doen, maar toch: Van harte, Samantha (e/o). Ik heb je ook nog even een PB-tje gestuurd om mijn felicitaties persoonlijk aan jullie over te brengen. Ik hoop dat jullie van de verre reis hebben genoten en gelukkig zijn. Mijn complimenten ook aan Roxanne voor het onderhouden van de website in de tussentijd en het oogje-in-het-zeil houden door Samantha en het aansturen van haar. Nogmaals bedankt aan allen.

En natuurlijk: Vrolijk pasen aan iedereen. Geniet van de vrije dagen.

Helaas..... *zucht*....... Pasen is alweer bijna voorbij. Morgen weer naar school..

HAHA!!! Awww.. arme Roxanne. Maar goed dat je hier vannacht kunt slapen toch?

@Valkyrie: Getting married on the beach isn't one of those things everyone can afford or (should be doing or should) do both all dressed up in white. Archway and chairs all in place. Guests sitting at the shoreline. Crashing waves in the background, sun in our eyes. It was what I ever imagined and dreamed of as a little girl. Stars... stripes... the lot and all the way. Even though I was very nervous in the morning, when the final moment arrived I was cool and serious down to my soul. It's a bit of a hometown tradition getting married on the beach, yk. I truly loved it!

We didn't spend a dime except for the tickets. All courtesy of our very much loved family and friends. We planned a date, and they set it all up for us while being 'on leave' with his folks, being dragged downtown and uptown LA, up and down Hollywood, from Long Beach to Santa Barbara and all the places and beaches I love, showing them our Californian lifestyle and the best of the American Dream. Well, that's the way we are and that's the way I am.

Plus...we came back with tons more than we bargained for so to speak. 2 x 96 kilograms of baggage + some other rollers holding loads of presents (for our friends too!) and we got plenty of $$$ cash for a thumbs up. So, all in all, this was our best trip ever.

We certainly won't be doing it all over again, that's a promise we made to the Lord ...
